Mechanical Assembler
Location: Forest, VA
Complete Job Description:
- Employee must follow company safety rules and be actively engaged in creating a safer work environment at all times.
- Must be able to quickly and accurately assemble complex electromechanical equipment to engineering specifications using standard and specialized tools.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is required.
- Basic shop math skills are required.
- (Mechanical) Must be able to build and verify machines/subassemblies that have close-tolerance components and help identify and correct problems that may arise.
- Employee is required to have position-specific personal hand tools and/or test equipment. Specialized tooling will be provided by the company.
- Employee must follow established operational procedures including labor reporting, process documentation, record keeping and other defined reporting requirements.
- HS degree or GED required; 2 years technical or vocational degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PC applications is required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Some heavy lifting is required, up to 50 pounds.
- Some travel may be required.
- Employees are required to work scheduled overtime.
- This is an aggressive and fast-paced work environment. Commitment to meeting schedules, increasing efficiency and improving quality is required.
- Reports to Production Manager.
Skills/Qualifications:
- HS degree or GED required; 2 year technical or vocational degree preferred.

Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office Experience Recommended.
- Microsoft Outlook Experience Required.
